Camel Welfare

Our camels live in large herds and are encouraged to move naturally, socialise, and self-select their diet from the desert's diverse vegetation. Our calm, consistent milking routine ensures quality, cleanliness and compassion every step of the way. We do not use any hormones, antibiotics or steroids to boost growth or production. The dry desert climate and wide-open paddocks provide a low-stress, disease-free environment.

Sustainable Resource Management

Our water comes from boreholes on the farm and our electricity comes from our solar system. A rotational grazing system is used to ensure enough recovery time for plants in the growing season. There is no chemical run-off and waste is removed from the farm and transported to municipal dumps. Biodiversity in the form of plants, birds and wildlife is encouraged by providing waterholes at various spots on the farm.

Farm Management

We strive to provide a healthy and safe working environment, where farmworkers are valued and where their rights are respected.

Suppliers and Customers

Growing and maintaining good relationships with our suppliers, assists them with predictable business and gives us a partner that we can rely on when times are tough. When dealing with customers we strive to provide products that are of exceptional quality, service that is above expectations and a willingness to listen to reason in the rare event that a customer needs to return a product.

The Safety and Quality of Our Products

Everything we do on the farm, from farm management, milking procedures, food availability, transporting and processing the milk and the production of our skincare products, is focused on producing a safe and healthy product that we are proud of, but more importantly that will bring happiness and satisfaction to everyone using it.
