Camel Auction November 2026

Koppieskraal Kameelplaas is the name of the farm where the camel dairy is located. Our calves are part of the dairy setup. At 1 year old they are weaned and some are sold as they will not longer be required on the farm. Most of the camels are about 1 year old, but Lot 6 are 4 years old. The aution will be a silent auction hosted by Vleissentraal on the SwiftVee platform.

There are 8 lots. THe bull heifer pairs where selected to ensure they come from different blood lines.

LOT 1

Riding camels - trained to sit down, accept someone on their back, get up and follow a
lead. Currently with someone behind to encourage them to walk.

373 is 2 years old and 400 1 year and 3 months.

LOT 3

The bull is tame. Accustomed to humans, allows contact. He takes food from your hand and will be great for a tourist attraction. He is 4 years old.

The heifer is a wild camel. Tend to move away when approached, keeps her distance at about 20-25m. Needs a lot of attention before she will allow contact. She is 5 years old and pregnant.
